You might feel you have hit a brick wall, but surely the enthusiastic responses to your posts tell you that we don't. I am happy to come along for the ride, where-ever you want to take us.
It doesn't matter what you write, Kath. It's always very entertaining and fuinny. I bet you could even writing about the weather sound funny. We all have blocks sometimes, but they pass and suddenly a thought flashes up in our minds, saying YES!! Thats a good topic. Of course sometime the posts then bomb out, like my murder mystery recently.
If you wrote a 350 word composition titled "nothing" it would be interesting and entertaining. If you prefer to add chapters to "what I did on my holiday" we will be equally entertained.
That's almost 1000!! (I'm not too far behind you either at 967) I like to hear about your shopping and travelling experiences and just generally what living in Geneva is like. Anything you want to put up is fine, you always write so well.
Give us a treatment for your SECOND novel. Not the one you're writing now, the one the publisher wants you to deliver in 12 months time after signing you up on a three book contract.
SECOND novel.
Doesn't have to be good, just popular. 500 words. GO.
I love everything you write Kath. I love the stuff about your walks and your encounters with people. But it's all good stuff, I look forward to your latest post every time. DON'T STOP! What about writing tips and experiences? Or chocolate comparisons? Photos of Geneva?
I love reading about your take on life in Geneva, a city I have visited but once to see some, also ex-pat, relatives in 2008. What about the trams? the hidden streams and creeks that become torrential after a day of rain? Losing one's driving licence in Switzerland..? Cakes, chocolate, mountains, forests, Anything really...
OpEx, I did write about movies for one of my Appreciative August entries back in 2008 but I *guess* that was five years ago (almost) and could do with a revisit?
Thanks Lockwood seasons - you've added a few more ideas to the pile!
Why not take a break & be my next RED Alert guest? All you have to do is send me some RED pix (shades of orange or magenta also count, and not much red is actually required) and I'll send you some interview questions??!!
I like reading about the quirks of life wherever you are, travelogue, character studies (ie Fratman) and comparisons between countries. What about starting some of series like Top 10 of anything (not just movies); or Weird Stuff; or photo of the week; or Bizarre word of the week (another expat blog I read does 'Frackin' Friday' for eg). I'm only suggesting these because you asked, not because I have ANY problem with what you're already writing.
Look forward to reading anything you write, actually!!

I always enjoy reading about Geneva and the day to day, the mundane, tells us about the city and how you fit into the picture.

Good for you Kath, I'm up to 1,561 since October 2005.
Do you realize that if we did meet up we'd probably talk each other to death.

Bonjour Kath,
Ok - a challenge for you.
I have written a few posts entitled "XYZ is Rubbish".
Tell me - and the world - what YOU think is rubbish - and why.
:-)
Cheers

I just love reading your stories about anything. Your encounters with the janitor, shopping experiences and especially your trips exploring Europe.
Thank you everyone - for the kind words and the suggestions. They will indeed be acted upon in the near future, I promise.
How about a post of your top ten favorite movies of all-time?? I am doing that one soon :)

Thanks, Red Nomad Oz and yes, I'd love to be part of (subjected to?) your Red Alert series!
