They're bread to nip cattle and sheep, it's entrenched in their genes.

I know of a couple who have met the same fate. My nephew was badly bitten on the face when he was little by a neighbour's cattle dog. They didn't put the dog down then but eventually, it had to be done. Very sad because it was fine with it's own family, just hated everybody else.Bainohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14156193098088048637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14994418.post-91025105597122928932009-12-03T08:36:14.628+01:002009-12-03T08:36:14.628+01:00Hi Kath! I can imagine your concern with this incident. I must return to see what happens. What your wrote about your sleeping house-guests open mouth being slurped was very funny. We had a Flemish Giant rabbit that took a flying leap at my husband's snoring mouth from the foot of the bed one evening.I had to lean on a tree-trunk right down in the backyard for support I was laughing so hard. I could see my husband applying antiseptic to his lip in the bathroom shouting angrily at me,"I can STILL hear you!".Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14994418.post-63302827810101340362009-12-03T07:12:45.744+01:002009-12-03T07:12:45.744+01:00Gosh my typing is all off today....Gosh my typing is all off today....Riverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14794655013673748992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14994418.post-14479819533808506192009-12-03T07:11:57.204+01:002009-12-03T07:11:57.204+01:00I had having to make the hard decisions like that....I had having to make the hard decisions like that. She only left a light mark - this time.

I clearly remember sitting in the lounge looking at each other - knowing what should be said, what had to be done - but neither of us had the will to verbalize it.
We both understood without words.

It was a tough day, so I understand how you must of been feeling!

leaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
